I am an assistant professor in the Psychology Department at St. Lawrence University.
I study culture and language.
I am drawn to elegant, principled approaches that are both practical and scalable, with broad relevance in real-world settings. Currently, I am actively thinking about: What aspects of our culture facilitate or hinder connections to oneself, others, and nature? How do these connections, or lack thereof, impact our psychology? What interventions can effectively foster meaningful connection?
